I have been a member for some years now. One of my pigs, Oreo, passed away last year and I got three new ones. A mama and her two baby girls. Mama Gus, baby Rusty and baby Babe. I didn't plan the adoption as well as I should have and they were pretty overcrowded but now I have two large cages hooked up together and they have plenty of running around room. I think it made a huge difference for them because they aren't stressed out by being so tightly packed. About a month ago I was quietly watching TV and I heard a distinct chirping. I thought it was a bird, but then realized it wasn't. When I got up to see who it was, it stopped, but I had company last week and my sister-in-law said that she was watching TV late at night and heard the chirping. I'm taking it as a sign that they are very happy. I still don't know which one it is, but I think it is Babe because she is the most vocal of all the pigs. I know it isn't Pork Chop, my oldest pig, because she has never
chirped. Anyway, let me know if any of you have chirpers and what you think it might mean. Thanks for all the info I get here and sincere condolences to all of you who have lost a valued member of your households.
