[Gpdd] [HEALTH] Drooling - softer food?

About a year ago Rosie started the drooling thing too. She would drool into
her food which would make it disintegrate and just let the water she drank
run down her chin.

In her case it wasn't a tooth problem. It was actually a skin infection
under her chin. She was losing hair under there too. I'm certainly not
saying the drooling problem is not teeth. Just giving you something to look
for.

Her infection was easily cured. I just put a cream on it twice a day. The
worst was getting her to lay back while I did it. My vet said the infection
probably came from her water bottle or food bowl. He advised me to boil
them or run them through the dishwasher twice a week. I run them through
the dishwasher with no soap. Just the hot water to kill any bacteria that
may be growing.

Good luck and Piggy Kisses!
