Take photos, document as much as you can and threaten (non-theateningly) to 
get in touch with the proper animal "watch dog" agencies. Perhaps a vet can 
supply you with literature and other help. Me thinks the teacher is a bit 
territorial and obviously resents your, what she would perceive as, "intrusion." Can 
you speak with the school Principal or who ever is in charge? Perhaps you 
could enlist the help of some activist vet. A letterhead letter might be all it 
would take, threatening confiscation if it isn't provided better accomodations 
and nourishment.
     I for one (among many on here) DO NOT believe guinea pigs belong in 
classrooms.
