[Gpdd] [Peter Gurney] Candle Lighting Reminder - March 9 at 8pm

Countdown to the Peter Gurney Memorial Candle Lighting!  This will take place this Sunday (for most of us), March 9th, at or around 8:00 pm, in your particular time zone.  This will be our third Peter Gurney Memorial event, to celebrate his life.  Peter Gurney passed away in July 2006 in England.  He was a tireless guinea pig advocate who wrote many of the books that many of us use.  His web page still provides all of us with some of our best guinea pig information.
   
  As each candle is lit on March 9th, the light will travel around the world.  This is a wonderful way for each of us to remember Mr. Gurney and all of the guinea pigs who are with him at the Rainbow Bridge.
   
  After we do this, if you send me a post (either to the GPDD or to my email), I will compile a list of all the places where a candle was lit and post it here.
   
  So mark your calendars and light a candle on March 9th, at 8:00 pm.  I will try to send a post about this every day, in hopes that all will see it.
