[Gpdd] [HEALTH] Woody goes to the Vet

Well folks, Woody went to see the vet today.  I always take my furbabies to the vet after purchase just to be on the safe side.
Woody rode in his carrier as the little lord he is, joyfully munching on hay and carrot shreds.  When we got to the vet, Woody was petted and cooed over and made the rounds of all the girls there.  General consensus---he's SO CUTE!!!!!
While trying to fish some "beans" out I had left Woody on the exam table.  Little bugger decided to take a flying leap off the table, bounces off my leg and slides down to the floor, propmptly runs around like a wild man and then takes refuge in the corner.  One of the techs helped me rescue him and he didn't seem to any the worse for the adventure.  Dr. Lane gave him a thorough check and chased him around the table to make sure all parts were functioning.
Woody is a Woody not a Woodette. He weighs a respectable 226 grams and is about 5 weeks old.  Little bit of crusty around the left eye, but we have drops.  I have to collect poopies for a couple of days but all in all Woody is well.  He even tried to climb out of his carrier.  I think he is part monkey or gerbil.  Fluffy was a climber, Popcorn was content to sit, I think Woody will outdo both of them.  
Back in a week to check the eye.  Someone is wheeking for carrot shreds.
