[Gpdd] MISC: Disturbing advertisement

Dear Marsha 

I haven't seen the ad, but I am sure it is upsetting.  Guinea pigs are used
and die in animal experiments everyday in laboratories all over the world
and are forced to reliquish their precious lives in the name of medical
science.

This may be a sad ad, but from a different angle it also brings to light the
terrible suffering of these gentle creatures in laboratories, and will
hopefully make the general public dwell on this side of things also.

Has anyone else seen this ad from the American Lung Association?  The
heading says "Big Tobacco's Guinea Pigs:  How an Unregulated Industry
Experiments on America's Kids and Consumers."  The heading is posted over
the picture of a dead guinea pig with a lit cigarette laying beside it.  I
have included the shortcut to the actual website.  I get their point, but I
am appalled by the image they use in this ad.  Is anyone else as offended as
I am?
