[Gpdd] [Health] Cocoa and misalligned molars

I had a guinea pig who had the same problem. There are ways to clip a  
guinea pigs teeth without anesthetic. I used to be in and out of the  
vets office in twenty minutes. I know the Cavy Trust uses this  
method. Perhaps someone on the list can direct you to the right place  
for information.

I know I felt incredibly guilty the first time we discovered Wilbur's  
problem. She was so thin and I never realized she couldn't eat.  
However, once she realized she could eat again, she made up for it.  
Coca's mouth might be a bit sore for a while because of sores in his  
mouth. Also he might not realize he can eat.

Another clue to watch for when their teeth are overgrown is tilting  
their head back to swallow.

I do hope Cocoa recovers quickly. You were right to book the  
appointment as soon as you noticed.
