We lit a candle at 8pm here in Northwest France on 9th March - it is still
burning as we write. We remembered not only Peter Gurney, but also our beloved
little Cherub, who went to The Bridge 5 years ago tomorrow (10th March) aged
just 5 weeks, and all the other Dolly Mixtures that have gone to The Bridge.

We think 9th March should be a special Guinea Pig Memorial Day. Just as the
war dead are remembered on Armistice Day, 9th March should be the day to
remember all piggies who have gone to The Bridge - not just those who had gpdd
slaves, but also the millions who go to The Rainbow Bridge from petshop back
rooms and laboratories.
