Our most sincere condolences go out to all the Stailey family on the passing of your dear Samantha.

She sounds like she had a wonderful personality and lived a very long and happy life with you all after being abandoned at the vets. You came into her life at just the right moment. How wonderful that she found fame in Leah's book. That will be something to treasure when you look back upon her life with love.
