One of my first Munchees (they were Kack and Kaz) had abscess and teeth
issues and I had to trim his teeth in between vet visits for molar
trimming. I used a small nail scissor and did it by myself so it can be
done. As I recall, I would hold him on my lap facing towards me and
squeeze his mouth gently to expose the tooth and then just cut it so it
would be even with the other one. It was just the one that got longer
than the other one. It was pretty easy but then maybe he was just a
good "patient." He was certainly special to me. If I got down on the
floor and put my mouth up against the grid and asked for kisses he would
kiss me on the lips. I still miss that little guy even though he went
to the Bridge in November of 2002.

I would think if you use nail clippers the cutting part should be
straight across rather than with a curve like most of them have.
