[Gpdd] Health: I've just done a wire cage intervention

I was looking at the guinea pigs on PetFinder today, and saw pictures of
a family of guinea pigs at the Cumberland County Animal Shelter (North
Carolina) who were kept in wire bottomed cages!

I just whipped off an e-mail to the shelter and suggested that, at the
very least, they put newspaper over the wire.  

I hope this was a good thing to suggest.  I know that many shelters do
not have the resources to get special cages.  My main concern is that
these piggies are happy and healthy so that they can find wonderful
forever homes.
