Corrine and Michael,

I am so sorry to read that you have lost your precious Mini, especially so soon after the loss of your dear Peppermint.

There is nothing that you could have done to prevent a stroke. Just as in humans, this can happen so suddenly that they have gone before we have a chance to help.

I lost my dear old Truffle last year to a stroke and even rushing him to see my wonderful Rodentologists could not save him.

Perhaps you might be consoled by knowing that she did not suffer a long, complicated illness and had the best of lives with you both. Such excellent slaves to have delayed your flight to be with her at the end.
