Pat,

Poor Doris, still suffering with cystitis after all this time and poor you, damaging your eye. I hope that you are recovering.

It is a shame that the barley water has not helped clear up Doris's problem.

I've been searching through my old mail to see what else I might have suggested for her but to no avail. I must have had a clear out.

Have I mentioned trying the ladies' cystitis remedy that can be bought at the pharmacy ( at least here in England )? There are lots of different products but the one that I have used is called Cymalon. They are all based on Sodium Citrate. It comes in a 6 sachet pack, which is one complete treatment for a human. For a piggy, you need to dilute 1/4 sachet in an eggcup of water and syringe it in over the course of 2 days. You could try this when the antibiotics are over.

If I've told you this before, kindly disregard all of the above. I know that I have posted about these remedies before but can't remember if it was in connection with Doris.
