Dear Dear Glynis,

Although I already knew that you had finally lost Duke to the Bridge, I
cried as I read your post and am sniffling still. From one of your last posts
I didn't see how the little guy could pull out of this one. But he had such
spirit. And your devotion was so complete. Ah, the two of you have been
through so much over recent years.

I remember when Sully went to the Bridge. I didn't realize that you
already had Duke and that they were brothers. I thought that Duke was a new piggy
then. Too bad that you couldn't get him a new friend then but the two of you
certainly bonded.

Your tribute to Duke was so touching. How will the Lady Bug handle this?
I so well remember how he escorted her to the various virtual events, ever
and always so attentive to her. He was definitely a personality that none will
forget.

I still haven't recovered from the loss of Chester then Charlie, not to
mention the others, so I know how empty your heart and arms feel, Glynis.
I'm so very sorry that little Duke had to be plagued with so many health
problems. It is a tribute to his spirit, your love and commitment to his health that
allowed him to reach the age of six.

Do you think maybe the RV swung by OZ and picked him up? He is where he
will be healthy, whole and with no suffering now, running through never-ending
filed as grasses and clover and all kinds of greens, plus an unending of the
best of fruit and veggie treats.

Bye bye little Duke, all of us will miss you. And may you feel some
comfort, even while you're grieving, Glynis.

Deepest sympathy,
Alge and the Pirates
