[Gpdd] MISC: Do NOT Sign Petition Against HR 669!

Everyone,?PLEASE do not sign the petition against HR 669! This is the Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Protection Act. The Humane Society of the United States SUPPORTS this bill and it is designed to protect the animal population (and human population) that we already have here AND to help spare the suffering of the exotic animal trade! 

Don't worry!??Guinea pigs are already a domesticated species here in the U.S. We have millions here already and they are breeding like crazy at the breeding facilities around this country.? We don't need to import any guinea pigs! Here is a link to the HSUS site supporting this bill:

And here is a link to the fact sheet. Once you read it, you will see that there is no intention of taking away our pets, all species currently in the U.S. are 'grandfathered' and are not affected,?the bill applies to non-native WILD species, not domesticated ones.
