I'm so sorry to hear about Spunky.     That happened to my Dougall a few years ago.   If you look at the Peter Gurney website, he says to inject calcium to fix the problem.         That is what I had my vet do - I took him to the emergency vet after-hours when I woke to find him pulling his back legs behind him, but he still looked bright in the eyes and was keen for food.    Luckily that vet read what Peter Gurney had to say, and followed the instructions!         By the next morning, Dougall was back to his normal self, with absolutely no after-effects.

Please give the calcium a go, before you make any decisions as to little Spunky's future.    Peter Gurney saved my Dougall's life.......... of that I am 100% positive.
