I was trying to schedule a re-check for Baby Truffles for tomorrow but they called me back and asked if they could keep her for observation all day. I balked at that and said well, she's not eating on her own, so you'd need to syringe feed her every couple of hours, so they said they could do that, just to bring everything. I was extremely hesitant and asked if I could discuss this with my husband so Michael was the one who convinced me that it might be a good thing for her.

Then tonight we were searching the internet to see if we could help diagnose her condition. The vet had taken an x-ray and said he didn't see any abcesses nor infections. The one thing that Michael found is that Baby Truffles might have a vitamic C deficiency?? The other vet (not the one she's currently seeing) never tested her, we just said to him that she has soft poos, what can we do? It was half an hour to closing time for them so we guess they didn't want to 'do' much for us so he just gave us Panacur and Sulfatrim and left it up to us as to which we wanted to give her. We decided on the Panacur and that seemed to have helped with the soft poos.

So we think that maybe, possibly? she could have gotten a vitamin C deficiency because she wasn't feeling well so she didn't eat much which prompted the vitamin C deficiency?? We're grasping at straws here.

If anyone has any suggestions for us, we'd really appreciate them. We'll check our email before leaving for the vet tomorrow morning (we're in Hawaii, so the east coast is about five hours ahead of us). Not sure what the vet is looking for.

Again, many thanks!

Corrine and Michael
