It never hurts to give a piggy a dose of baby colic drops, even if you are 
unsure that they are needed. Anything over the counter that is suitable for 
human babies is going to be fine for a piggy.

A piggy who is not eating well is always in danger of developing a gas 
problem.

I always keep a bottle of gripe water,  infant colic drops ( Infacol in 
England ) and a packet of Buscopan tablets in my piggy first aid kit.

Just a few drops of Infacol or similar can sometimes be all that is needed 
to save a little life.
