[Gpdd] GPDD [OFFTOPIC] Alge,good update

Hi Everyone and Everypig,

I am happy to let you all know that Alge is happy and feeling better after 
completing 2 straight months of radiation and chemo (not as often).  Last 
week she had to go back to the hospital as the radiation caused her a 
dangerous drop in her white blood count, but after several transfusions, she 
is feeling better and is at home.  She has been very uncomfortable and 
almost any movement has caused her much pain as the radiation severely 
burned her sit down place, consequently she has done very little sitting.  I 
cant tell you how happy she has been to receive the cards and little gifties 
she has received from so many of you, the lightness of her voice when she 
talks about it makes me tear up.  She is still unable to sit long enough to 
write on the computer  but occasionally she has sat a bit and read the GPDD 
or had it read to her. It is such a bright part of her life.

She is extremely excited that we will be having a little Christmas time 
Pirate cruise that will include a SNO-Ball Christmas coming out party for 
baby Puff and other precious sows  wishing to enter  piggie society. They 
will be escorted by eligible boars, and chaperoned by the Older Sows and 
Boars who will dress up, pair up, and enjoy the party as much as the 
youngsters, and I can tell you Alge says Captain Jack and Barnacle Bill have 
dreams of young ladies on their brains and can barely contain their 
excitement. I will send out the formal announcement shortly, a day or two, 
and it will be a simple fun affair for all of us. And since it is a virtual 
event even piggies who are not so well in real life can easily attend in all 
their glory, dreams and Christmas ball gowns and tux's. So get your 
suitcases, egg cards, ribbons and gowns, Pig -air reservations together, its 
time for a light hearted little adventure and Christmas gift for our Alge.

Also anyone who want her address for Christmas cards can write me for it or 
anyone you know that has it. We just cant post it on the internet as it is 
searchable. Also if anyone wishes to forward a Secret Santa type gift for 
Captain Jack or Barnacle Bill, please feel free, although she will not be 
able to reciprocate this year (this is just my idea).

Her doctors have high hopes, but the aftermath of her surgery and the 
realities of radiation and chemo have left her weak enough not to be able to 
participate this year but she anxiously looks forward to a better future. 
Again let me thank you all on her behalf for your generosity of heart and 
spirit that have meant so much to her. I read an article in the paper this 
week that said just looking at pictures of loved ones actually helps relieve 
severe pain, so I can only imagine how much your efforts have helped her 
through this trying time, so again on her behalf, I humbly and gratefully 
thank you and wish you all a wonderful Christmas Cruise and Holiday Season
