Debra, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of little Calico.  But....... he's now in paradise with so many of our beloved piggy friends.     

May you find comfort in knowing that members of the GPDD are heartbroken for you.

  It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce that my sweet Calico  
  crossed the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon.  He was a beautiful teddy bear  boar 
  with a very sweet and loving disposition.  He had a bout with bladder  stones 
  when he was a little less than a year old.  Since then he has had a  long 
  history of sludge and bladder infections.  He was a real little  fighter and managed 
  another four years of life.  We had hoped he would make  his fifth birthday 
  in March, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.  We will  miss him terribly.  I 
  don't think I have ever known a guinea pig with as  much personality as Calico.
