[Gpdd] [Peter Gurney] Memorial Light-March 9th-Real, not Virtual!

Just another friendly remider to mark your calendar for March 9th, at 8:00 pm.
That is when we will celebrate the life of Peter Gurney with a candle that will move around the world.  Peter Gurney died in Great Britain in 2006 and he was one of the world authorities on guinea pigs.  He wrote many of the books that many of us have, and his website remains one of the best sources of information when we have a guinea pig problem.
 
This will be our fourth world-wide candle-light memorial, and all you have to do is light a candle on March 9th, at or around 8:00 pm, in your particular time zone.  The light for Peter will be lit in the different time zones, as it moves around the world.  After March 9th, you can let me know where you are (city, state, country) and I will post a list of all the places where a candle was lit.  Something new this year - We will also post a world map, with illuminations of the lightings.
 
The light will be for Peter Gurney and all of the piggies who are with him at the Rainbow Bridge.  We know he is looking after all of them!  So, be sure to mark your calendars.  I will continue to send out more frequent reminders as we get closer to March 9th.
