[Gpdd] Health: Facial Paralysis

I read the digest daily, but do not post very often. My 4 year old female guinea pig recently suffered facial paralysis. She has not regained the ability to blink or use most of the right side of her face. We fought off an eye infection, but she requires daily eye medications to keep her eye lubricated. The medications also prevent furthur infection. My vet said he felt this was Horner's Syndrome. He feels that her eye will shrink somewhat furthur. He is wonderful and even has piggies of his own. I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience, or knows if pigs can suffer strokes? Thanks for your help.
