[Gpdd] Health - update on g.pig unable to eat ...

The vet did look at his molars (two vets, different days, both very thorough) checked his molars/jaw mobility and generally for abscesses/elongated roots etc. but said he seems an extremely happy, well pig, without a sign of anything wrong (except me telling them he cannot - or will not for some reason - choose to take water or eat anything for himself.  He is easy to syringe feed now that he knows what's going on, and stays very relaxed throughout.

The only thing he doesn't like is when I dry under his chin, at his throat area rather than under the teeth area - so the suggestion it could be glandular is welcome.

Today we are syringe feeding again, as he's not bothering to eat for himself - he tried, but couldn't chew it once in his mouth.  Yet he did yesterday, after 4 weeks.  So I'm hoping a recovery is still under way, even if it'll be very slow.  And he's still got two more weeks of the oral thrush gel, which may be doing the trick, before we pursue another course of action.

Thanks for your replies.
