I do hope that Ghirardelli gets a new friend.

I keep all of my sows and boars in the pig room - actually two rooms as 
numbers increased and I ran out of space in the original room. I have pens 
of sows right next to pens for pairs of boars. Nobody fights and everypig 
can chat to their neighbours as well as their own companions.

This has always worked for my herd so, personally I would keep them all in 
the same room.
