[Gpdd] Announcement: Holiday Gift & Card Exchange 2009

Hey Everyone, I know we are into October and fall is here, but I wanted to let everyone know that it's not too early to start thinking bout wanting to participate in our annual digest holiday gift exchange for Christmas. I would be more than happy to once again work on this as I love too do that part in it. For those of you that are new to the digest let me explain what this is a little bit. I will start matching up and sending out confirmation emails near the end of November. 
Every year we offer a holiday gift or card exchange with other members of the digest. You can choose to participate in either or both aspects of the exchange. In both you would be given the name of another guinea pig(s) if you wish to do all your piggies together and a slave. If you are participating in the gift exchange you would than get some type of gift for the slave's pig(s) that you were assigned and mail it to them for a christmas gift. YOu are also welcome to include soemthing special in their for the slvae. As for the price of the gift that is up to you as to how much you can honestly afford to spend on a gift. I've had various gifts over the years from handmade gifts/treats for me and my piggies to store bought treats. But the minimum is usualy about $10 from what most people spend on a total gift I'd guess. THis is a fun event and everyone loves to participate adn get gifts in the mail and than post on the digest a thank you afterwards so that everyone knows you received your gift.
