[Gpdd] misc: pumpkin?

Hello fellow guinea pig lovers,
So now that the fall season is here, just wondering if any of you give your guineas fresh pumpkin? Just wanted to make sure its a ok fresh food to give them. I have read on here  that pumpkin in the can is good for them when they are sick. Just wanted to make sure as a treat it is ok too:) I know not to give them the seeds of the pumpkin as seeds can get stuck, and we dont want that to happen!
