  I'm really sorry to hear about Dillon. It sounds like even though your vet 
wasn't the most experienced with piggies that she is a very caring vet & for 
that you were lucky. Teeth problems are unfortunately just very hard to deal 
with in piggies. There's alot of different opinions & advice out there. It's 
hard to know what is fact & what is fiction. Don't drive yourself insane 
with "if onlys". Believe me, we've all been there & it just does no good for 
your healing process. You did awesome, waking up in the middle of the night 
for him & I know you tried your absolute best & he knew that too. Our 
piggies always leave holes in our hearts when they go. That hole can never 
be filled again, but can be patched by other piggies who will need our love 
in the future. Take comfort with your husband & remaining piggies & enjoy 
every second with them. It's sweet that your family even called to check on 
him too. He was so well loved. I have been there & so has everyone else here 
on the digest. It is devastating when they go & it will take time to heal. I 
know it's hard to believe right now but it does get better. Take care. My 
thoughts & prayers are with you & your family.
