[Gpdd] HEALTH: Emergency! Hershey is hospitalized.

Hershey and I had a wonderful time together last night. I'm grateful for that.
Hershey's tummy was distended and painful this morning, so I rushed her to the vet. They're keeping her over the weekend, administering the injection equivalents of morphine, antibiotics, motility drugs, fluids, and anti-gas drugs every so many hours. They'll also be doing x-rays. I'm afraid something's ruptured as her droppings are very black, which could mean bleeding. Please, those of you who pray, ask that she will be comfortable and unafraid in the strange surroundings with all those nasty needles. And for those of you who aren't pray-ers, please send her lots of healing love.
