Hi Jocelyn and everyone,  I am using, and Sammy and I both love, a cheap 
carefresh
alternative that's better than the last Carefresh I used, which was years
ago. Its the Kroger house brand or at least its bought at Fred Myers, the
western iteration of Kroger.  The "curds" of paper are generally larger and 
brush off his cuddle cups easily and its not messy, its called Healthy Pet 
and comes in 2 sizes.  www.absorbent.com, very much like the website already 
mentioned by Ellen for a similar products by others but slightly different
