[Gpdd] behavior: confused?

Hello Fellow Digest Friends,
I have a very strange question as this has totally baffled me. I have a guinea pig named Lazarus that is probably two  years old. He has always been a moma's boy and he and I have this thing we have done since he was a small guinea:) I talk to him to let him know I will be taking him out by saying Lazzy boy momma is here.. and i put my hand in his cage and tap it three times and turn my hand over and he immediately goes and sits on my palm to lift him out. We have been doing this forever.... and never a problem with this way of getting him out of his cage..(several of our guineas come out of there cage this way. Well last nite after we came home from my daughters house from holding our new grand baby I did my normal routine of tapping the cage and waiting for Laz to come sit on my hand.. well he didn't .. he went to the other side of his cage and CHATTERED his teeth at me!!!!   I was taken back by his actions.. he has never ever chatted his
 teeth at me!! I continued to talk softy to him and waited for him to climb on my hand.. He refused to do this.. I attempted to try several more times.. I even washed my hands again thinking the  baby smell was there and it offended him???  but every attempt by me was a chatter of teeth and no attempt to climb on my hand... I even tried a favorite treat to bribe him.. but nope it wasn't to be... My husband who couldn't believe my beloved Laz wouldn't come to my hand said he could get him out.. as he has many times before.. but on is attempt to get him out Lazarus bit him!!!  now I was totally surprised at this.. so we decided to leave him alone... for the rest of the nite.. 
The next morning it was the same... chatter and it then opposite corner glaring at me...
so by  this time I am in tears.. thinking what could of happened to him to change him ???
So I again tried this afternoon.. and he came to my hand at once.. just like old times... and I had been over to Graces to see the baby again..(my day off I just couldnt not go see that baby again!)  so the sent of the baby was on me again I am sure. after he was in my hands i lifted him out ever so careful worried he would turn and bite me! but he didn't . I cked him all over to make sure he was ok. he ate and drank fine. poops normal. So I am wondering has anyone else had a pig turn overnite?? and then turn back to being them old self again?? I am confused?
