Dear Janet

No sooner had I read it was Isabel's birthday than I saw she had passed
away. I am very sorry.

I know you will be feeling heartbroken right now, but 7 is truly exceptional
for a guinea pig, and the many years you shared with her were a rarity lots
of owners do not get to discover.

You must have taken tremendous care of her, and I hope the memories and
happy times you had together will always be a huge comfort to you.

I am thinking of you.

Dear Janet,
I'm shocked!  I've been behind on reading posts and one minute I'm reading
of Isabel's 7th birthday and the next she's gone.  I am SO sorry to hear
this
news.  I guess she wanted to have one more birthday with mom and dad
before leaving for the bridge.  Consider that day a special gift.
