[Gpdd] ANNOUNCE Special days at Piggyfriends

We have a few celebrations here at Piggyfriends. I seldom know my little ones' ages let alone their birthdays but a few have been here since "piglethood".

On December 1st. Roscoe celebrated his 6 1/2 birthday. Readers may remember that after my piggies become SCAMPS we have "half birthdays" as well. I know Roscoe's birthday because he has been here since he was a tiny baby.

Towards the end of November Rye became a SCAMP - for newer members that means that is five years old now. His mum and dad, Sapphire and Barley had their 5 1/2 birthdays sometime in November.

Barley and Rye are among the piggies featured in the Undercover Piggies blog today in the black and white Piggy Snap.

I would like to have picked their favourite dandelions for a treat but these are all buried under 8 inches of snow. I couldn't even find the steps to get down to the veggie garden but was mobbed by flocks of hungry birds, for whom I had nuts, fat squares and seeds. Treats for the piggies will have to wait until the weather resumes its usual cold and wet but for now there are extra cucumbers. Nothing beats fresh nibbles from the garden.

I hope that all piggies in England are well supplied with veggies before the supermarkets run out.
