Corrine and Michael, we had so hoped that Blossom would be able to overcome her health problems, and it was with much sadness that we read of her passing. It is so very hard when a piggie has multiple, confusing symptoms and when a medicine that is prescribed seems to do more harm than good. Please find comfort in knowing that you did everything you could for her, taking her to the vet's, syringing her Critical Care, and watching over her as closely as possible. It's really impossible to imagine anything else you could have done. Unfortunately sometimes it is just a piggie's "time," no matter what we do or how wonderful our vet is or our home care is. We have no doubt that Blossom knew how lucky she was to be a member of your family and understood how much you loved her.

We are also so very sorry that Truffles passed away so soon after her mother. Again, it seemed that she had confusing symptoms that were hard to treat, but, again, you did all your best, which is all anyone can do. We know it was so hard to be on a roller coaster, when she was doing better one day and not as well the next. We have been there, too. It does sound as though she missed her mom and wanted to be reunited with her at the Bridge, and it was very touching to read of how she looked at her mom's picture in her cage. Truffles was much loved, both by you and her mom, and that makes her a lucky girl. We send our very belated condolences on her passing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.

Sadly,
Cindy, Tumbleweed, and Friday
