I read your message. It's funny because Mimi loves to root thru her hay & eat all the seedheads (I call them flowers) first too. Is bluegrass hay basically the same as timothy hay? I would love to switch Mimi over to another brand of hay because the Kaytee is crappy alot. I just don't know if we can afford the Kleenmamas & she has always eaten timothy hay all her life. Sometimes I give her some sweetmeadow grass. Just wondering. Thanks!
