There has been several articles in recent weeks talking about a common type
of tumor found on the back.. I believe they are usually completely benign
and dont need removal Of course your vet may have some specific info about
your piggies lump that gives him cause for concern but I would love to se a
quick description of the tumor from you and a discussion among those of us
who have been involved (not me) and an archive search to make sure there
isn't some info on GPDD has that may shed light on this lump before your
baby goes under for surgery.
Could anyone involved in the previous discussion remember and restart the
discussion? Can you tell us about your piggies lump, exactly where is it, is
it attached or loose, how does it feel, what is its size etc.Lets see if we
can be helpful before the surgery date. Is your vet an exotics specialist or
a rodentologist?
