  About getting Spooky to eat hay.  I thought perhaps if he has a very 
favorite fruit, some juice some of it on the hay might tempt him. Of course 
the extra would have to be picked up right away and he wouldn't want too 
much sugar. One thing to avoid, make sure if he is eating dry foods like 
pellets and hay that he is getting enough liquids to process them and run 
his body. If he isn't drinking enough his body may know to stay away from 
dry foods till he is ready and hydrated enough.  He should get enough fiber 
from good quality pellet mash or better  Critical Care.
