I forgot to mention home made barley water, which helps with cystitis ( UTI ). The recipe is on Peter's cystitis page.

I have used this in the past. Watch it while it is cooking as the barley absorbs the water very quickly and if you turn away for a moment you will have a burnt pan and have to start again

When the liquid has been drained off, some piggies enjoy eating the barley residue. Let it cool first of course.
