Hi GPDDers :)
Thanks for your responses about dry ears. Yes gorgeous guineas is the place
I was thinking of!! I'm going to check if they can send things to Australia
and if they can I think I'll order some. The ointment I was talking about
is http://www.lucaspapaw.com.au/ Lucas' papaw ointment. I use it myself and
it's very moisturising. I think perhaps I will ask my vet just in case.
We do use oatmeal shampoo and I think it's fantastic. We have 2 cats and a
dog and rats and we use it on all of them as well as the piggies and it's
really good and smells lovely. Also a big fan of betadine! That stuff is
great. I always have some for any scratches or whatever I get, and for the
pets too just in case, cos I know my vet uses it.
I hope it is not fungal.. It's been there for a long time, and it stayed
after the last dose of ivermec I gave my pigs a while back and I'm
comforting myself with knowing that the breed she is (I can't remember ...
rex? Or teddy?) often has dry skin... so we shall see.
