Cant they at least see her to determine if she has that much time, otherwise 
its not right. That much should be considered an emergency. As far as bone 
fusing I have heard many stories of very old sows giving birth successfully 
but since her health may be compromised she should be seen, ask for a call 
back from a technician or assistant to determine if its an emergency. others 
have said if they can get past the front gate keeper they can get their
