Maybe a stuffed animal would help her not miss her mate as much? Just thinking maybe something to cuddle with? 
Also, does your vet have a voice mail that you could leave a message directly for him to ask about him seeing her sooner? I would hate to see her go into labor before you find out if her pelvic bones are fused. Hope to see pics soon!
