Hi Judi,
Thank you so much.  I knew that Spicy was declining, but YES, I did have hope as 
she seemed to be doing pretty well.
Another pig of mine, Annie, did the same thing...she suddenly got so much better 
and I thought we had beat her illness,
only to find that she had passed the following morning.  It's always so sad, so 
thanks for thinking of us during this time.
I sure do appreciate it.

Joanne, I am so very sorry to hear about Spicy.  When they suddenly die like 
that after giving us a lot of hope, it really hurts.  Hugs to you and your furry

Hi Friends,
Well, my sad news is that SPICY passed away tonight.  It's
been a few weeks that I've been doing everything possible
for her bumblefoot.  In fact, I haven't yet received the HAPPY
SOLES from Gorgeous Guineas yet...still waiting...
Then, the vet suspected either Cancer
(she felt a mass) and/or Congestive Heart Failure.  There
wasn't much hope of recovery, but my feisty girl was doing
well.
In fact, yesterday, she seemed so happy...walking
around, eating a lot of everything and chewing on the cage
wires as if to say, "Get me out of here."  This morning, she
took her medications, Vitamin C, enjoyed her hay, etc. as any
other day so I was shocked to find her dying just hours later.  
I guess it was her time to leave for the Bridge and I am grateful
that I was with her to hold her and tell her that I love her. 
I will forever treasure her sweet memories and I miss her already.
Rest in Peace, My Sweet SPICY.
