Sandy,

This is not relevant to Sparkles' problem but you posted that you could not 
remember reading about Brewer's Yeast as a supplement for piggies. If you 
still had your copy of Peter's Piggy Potions, you would be able to read that 
he recommended Brewer's Yeast tablets for impacted boars as it contains some 
of the B vits that are lost when they cannot ingest their caecal pellets. I 
follow this advice and give a daily tablet for the first couple of weeks to 
boars with this condition, thankfully few and far between.

There is a place for Brewer's Yeast in the piggy first aid box ( if you have 
boars ).

Constipation is not that common in piggies. When I have encountered it, I 
have fed them something known to be laxative. I can pick fresh dandelion and 
groundsel leaves from my garden for most of the year.
