Welcome to the digest. I somehow must have missed the digest when you joined because I don't remember reading it. Sorry for  the delay in welcoming you. 
Antibiotics do take time to work, however if you can hear him breathing across the room, I would be concerned about him possibly developing pneumonia. Maybe he should go back to the vets? Putting a little dab of Vicks vapor under his nose may help. If his breathing gets worse I would definitely take him back to the vets. Make sure you have a vet who is an exotics vet who has experience with piggies. I sure hope he feels better soon. Keep us updated.
