Dear Mieke,
I hope you are feeling better and that the antibiotics work quickly for you.  I know you are worried.  I would encourage you to seek a second and even a third independent opinion on your own illness by an internist and/or a gastro-intestional specialist.  By independent, do not discuss the previous diagnosis of your illness, only the symptoms, and see if the analysis is consistent.  For non-standard illnesses, I would encourage anyone to always get another informed analysis.  For our beloved piggies, we usually don't have that luxury, so we need to find a vet that we have confidence in, and rely on the collective knowledge of each other.  We are thinking of you.
