[Gpdd] ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing myself

Hi my name is Anneli and I am from Indiana. I just joined the digest a
couple of weeks ago and thought I would introduce myself. There are not many
people in my state that are as into pigs as I am, especially compared to the
UK and some other states in the US. So it is nice to find an online
community of cavy lovers! I have had pigs for about 12 years now, and I
can't imagine my life without them.

Right now I have 6 pigs, 2 that were born on St. Patrick's Day! I bred my 2
Silkie Satin's (Sheltie's) back in January, a couple weeks ago the father,
Bailey, died unexpectedly (he was only 4, the vet couldn't save him). So
these piglets are even more special to me because Bailey is gone, but yet
lives on! So right now Flower (the mother) is snuggling with her very first
piglets. These piglets took 73 days to emerge, so you can imagine my
impatience!

My 3 other pigs are Abyssinian's. I bought Nutmeg as a tiny piglet from a
pet store, and she turned out to be already pregnant! Her grown piglets,
Cinnamon and Biscuit, are the 2 other pigs I have.
