Joanne,

Do you follow the three monthly protocol with Ivermectin and Panacur to
keep these nasty parasites at bay? If so, you will have Ivermectin in the
house so Teddy will need a dose right now with a follow up dose in 10-14
days time. If you do not have it to hand, get Teddy along to your vet asap.

Also give him a bath with the US equivalent of VetSect Repel.

Be aware that your small description of his symptoms could also indicate a
fungal infection.
