If your girls chirp, and knowing they are from different piggy gene pools,
maybe it’s a partly learned behavior. Did it happen soon after Skittles
went to his new home, she may have been distressed because he was missing.
I have always thought that strong emotions come out in song. I think happy
or sad. But its all speculation and limited observation, no proof.
Make sure your adoptive families know that they can bring the piggy back if
it doesn’t work out, or they find they aren't paying enough attention. I
think its best if they can go in pairs when possible, so they always have
some company. Us humans are remarkably unreliable Love to the maturing
