He's here! He was dropped off at 8 this morning. It makes a change for
piggies to be delivered. Usually I have to go and fetch them.

He is a charcoal grey Peruvian with a darker, nearly black face and the odd
lighter streak through his coat. His colouring is very like my Shadow but he
is a Texel .I am told that he is a lap pig and he certainly sat very calmly
with me before I put him into the quarantine cage. He sat, shell shocked, in
the corner for a while but I kept peeking in at him whilst I was cleaning
out the pens in the next room. I saw him nibble at some fresh grass and now
he is hiding in a pile of hay.

I was told that he is 8 months old and that his birthday is July 31st. It
was not until after his previous owner had left that it occurred to me that
these dates don't match ( well it was early in the morning and I am not at
my best until I have had my first coffee ). She couldn't stay long as she
was on her way to work or the difference might have clicked. He looks too
big to be three months old so I think that the eight months is right and the
birthday wrong.

He is a beautiful boy and I will take some pigtures when he has settled in.

His breeder was concerned about him being alone in a cage as she is at work
most of the day so was very pleased to see the crowd of potential friends
here. She called him TomTom at first and then ended up calling him SatNav (
TomTom is a type of car SatNav - in case you don't have this brand in your
varying countries. ) This is subject to change - I can't call him that. You
might remember that when he lived with her, my Otto was called Little Willy
( that might not be a rather rude name in every country but it is here ).
So, as usual, I am cogitating. The naming of names is very important to me.

Pigtures and new name soon.

Penny and the Piggyfriends plus one.
