Please extend my heartfelt condolences to the mommy of all those rescue piggies who were killed by a foster dog. I can't even comprehend her state of mind, heart, and spirit, finding her little ones dead. I'd be seeing a counselor for critical incident stress therapy for sure. It's the sort of thing you don't just snap out of.
 
Please tell her I'm sending prayers her way, and I, for one, will consider this a wake-up call should I consider keeping my cats indoors unsupervised. They simply do what their ancestors were born to do--rid the world of rodents and other small animals.
