Verda Stanley-Spatcher the founder of the Cambridge Cavy Trust and the 
British Association of Rodentologist, BAR, has a new book out called 
BAR Official Guide to Guinea Pig Diagnostics, Surgery, Medication and 
Welfare. It is fantastic and has lots of full colour photographs and 
diagnostic flowcharts. Below is the website, in case you are interested

I spoke to Vedra today about Metacam which is listed in the drug section 
of her book. She uses Metacam 1.5 mg/ml suspension. The dose is 0.3 mg. 
The dosage is 0.2 ml orally 1-2x/day. She said to keep the duration to a 
minimum.
